Carpet Texture 1.
This picture is intended to be a carpet texture for my 3D environment of the Engine Shed. Before I could use it in my environment I needed to be sure that I could tile it without the edges of the photo being too noticeable. First I cropped the photo so the edges and the end of the stands for the lights weren't showing. I then edited the colour select tool to select the darker areas of the picture and used the lighting and contrast settings on the selected areas to match up with the centre of the picture. I then added a motion blur to make the texture seem more grainy.
Carpet Texture 2.
The second carpet texture is an alternative to the first texture. The purpose is the same as the first carpet except it will be used on corners and occasional areas around the floor. I started off by cropping the picture to get rid of the showing light stands, then I used the lasso tool to select the corner of the carpet to add a small discoloured section. I then changed the image to black and white to make the ridges in the carpet show more. I edited the exposure settings to make the picture a tad lighter.
