Story Board
Explain
The storyboard is created to describe the main plot of the story, it features pictures and descriptions to explain the main plot of the film. It notes down the Scene and the shot number of the box for future use.
Analyze
The storyboard is one of the first things that is worked on. It affects the storyline, the way the script is written and the characters actions.
Evaluate
The storyboard describes the main story, without it, writing the script would be increasingly difficult. This means that the storyboard is an effective method of creating a successful production.
Shooting schedule
Explain
The schedule is used for planning the filming of the production. It lists the scene details, location, and cast that will be included. This is set in a specific order so times can be more organized. It should be given to all cast members so they know where they should be.
Analyze
This document can raise efficiency, as it organizes who should be where and what time they should be there for.
Evaluate
Without the location schedule, crew and cast members would have trouble knowing where they should be, therefore it is vital that this document is created and shared among the other personnel. It is important for the success of the movie.
Studio Plan
Explain
The studio plan is the floorplan of the filming area, which maps out everything that will be included in the area, such as lighting, cameras, personnel, actors and other assets.
Analyze
This method of planning can save time. Instead of having to move pieces of equipment around multiple times, it can be planned out and then everything can be placed.
Evaluate
All successful productions have a full floorplan for their filming area. It's an important piece of documentation as it has everything all ready for the actual filming stage.
Equipment List
Explain
This lists all the equipment that needs to be purchased for the film. An equipment list would have the item, the number you need to a certain item and the price of it. The purchases should be kept within the budget they have.
Analyze
This can affect the cost greatly, as it allows you to spend the budget carefully instead of buying without thinking which could result in not having enough to actually film the production.
Evaluate
It's important for ensuring that the money is going into educated decisions, which would ensure that the production is successful.
